The Hoxne Swan is planning a beer festival for the May Day Bank Holiday weekend, May 1-4.

Featuring beers from across the UK, the festival will also provide free entertainment from Gina Silburn and Manny Mantel, who will be playing on the Saturday, 8pm. On Sunday, there will be an Open Mic Night.

Tamal will playing rock favourites in the garden on Monday, 2pm.

Landlord David Rye said: "We hope by putting on this festival it will persuade people to come out and enjoy their local."
