Review: Musical Evening - Hartismere School, Eye
A feast of musical entertainment was provided by Hartismere School students continuing a tradition that year-on-year showcases the abundant talent nurtured by teacher Sarah-Jane Bullen.
From Year 7 pupils to school leavers, all showed confidence, maturity and above all, the enjoyment of taking part, enhanced by a strong team of sound and lighting, stage crew, staff and PTA. A varied programme opened and closed with the large choir giving a taste of more musical delights to come in March next year.
The popularity of pianoforte music was shown through solos, including one pupil who performed his own composition, along with vocal solos, a duet, a flute duet, a jazz band and a GCSE group. All deserved credit for their contributions. JANET CHAMBERS
