Former Blue Peter presenter and Doctor Who star to host animal quiz in north Suffolk

A former Blue Peter presenter and Doctor Who star will host an animal quiz night in north Suffolk.

The event will be led by Peter Purves next Friday, February 8, at Dennington Village Hall.

The quiz hosted by the 73-year-old, who presented the BBC show from 1967 to 1978, and was a companion of the travelling Doctor in the 1960s, starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £5, from Framnlingham and Debenham Surgeries, and funds go to Suffolk Animal Rescue, and Saxtead and Framlingham Cats Protection.
