High-spirited musical romp

Thoroughly Modern Millie hits the stage at Ipswich's New Wolsey Theatre next week.

Presented by the Appeal Theatre Group, it is an amateur production which promises a high-spirited musical romp filled with frisky flappers, dashing leading men and a dragon-lady of a villainess audiences will love to hate.

Performances run from Tuesday until Saturday, July 11, at 7.45pm with a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday.

Tickets are 12 or 9 for the matinee.
