For the last few years when the exams are done and the wait for results is over, the normal cry goes out that exams are too easy.
Well the answer could be that our young men and women have better ways of achieving good results.
Schools and a good support network are needed to help our young to fulfill their potential.
The school bus drivers, teaching assistants, dinner la
dies, school secretaries, teachers who teach and parents who care, all have a part to play in our youngsters' success.
We all must invest in everyone's tomorrows.
Manday Miller, The Knoll, RedlingfieldRail bus to town neededIn reply to Valerie Grose's letter (Station link is needed, Diss Express, August 15), I agree a bus from station to town is necessary.
Not quarter-hourly but perhaps hourly.
This would enable people to go into Diss, rather than be dropped off at the bus station where the supermarkets loom persuasively!
Elizabeth Mooney, Pearce Road, DissFlying in with supportThe Royal Air Forces Association Wings Appeal takes place in September and your donations will be used to help former Royal Air Force women and men and their dependents.
Recipients are from pre Second World War to the current conflicts.
Through their locally-based welfare officers, RAFA can usually offer help immediately from their local funds, more often where welfare, health and other organisations cannot.
RAFA help, in most cases, is not reliant on decisions from remote and impersonal committees and is on a personal one-to-one basis.
Please support our collectors, either house to house or at local stores.
Forthcoming events for your enjoyment and support include a victory party/dance at Thorpe Abbotts on September 20 and a RAFA salute to 90 years of the Royal Air Force at Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum Flixton on October 12.
If you are former RAF you can join as a full member or, if not, as an associate member.

H Websdell, Wilderness Close, HarlestonSincere thanksI would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the generous people of Diss who donated to our recent fundraising event for Marie Curie Cancer Care on August 16.
The grand total was £645.
Many thanks go to all our helpers, to Jonathan Ling for the entertainment and attraction of his mechanical music organ, to Somerfield for parking arrangements, to Bakers Oven for refreshments, and to M&Co for their kindness.
We hope to see you again next time.
