upport them.
We don't want a few small shops pulling customers away from town centre businesses already struggling to cope.
What the town needs is something to pull in more people from a wider area.
Whatever is built between the Park and the River Waveney needs to be something with magnet-like qualities.
It needs to be something that people will come to Diss to see and then stay to have a look around the town and use the businesses.
With no cinema, theatre, proper leisure centre or major shopping centre within a 25-mile radius, Diss could really be at the centre of things, rather than in the middle of nowhere.
We now just need to make sure the decision-makers get it right.
