Accident risk is so obvious

A couple of big metal signs have appeared at the Brome junction with the A140 proclaiming 'Accident site under investigation'.
What's to investigate? It's a dangerous junction, where a large volume of traffic from a feeder road attempts to join an even larger volume of traffic on a main trunk road; people on the feeder road grow impatient, take risks, diving into the main road flow. Accidents, injuries and, tragically, deaths ensue.

Half an hour spent at that junction at rush hour paints a clear picture of the peril.

Suffolk Roadsafe should pack away its signs, cancel its needless investigation, stop the procrastination and direct all its efforts towards forcing the relevant authorities to build the roundabout the Brome junction has always so desperately needed.
