I am glad to see Diss carnival is back. Unfortunatly I couldn't make it , but am making sure I go next year, I used to be on Roydon floats many years ago and hearing the carnival is bak it brought back great memories. Even though I live in Norwich I like to visit Diss now and then, it's a lovely town. Well done.

I'm trying to find news of old friends - Jim Church of Harleston, who used to work as a plumbers mate for British Gas and married Bev Cordey, plus Stephen Hartley, late of Fair Green, who went to Cambridge University then disappeared somewhere up North I believe but not as far as me! Wouldn't mind hearing from anyone else who knows me, friend or foe (family or old friends). Does Tinny (Martin) Ward still work for the Diss Express or has he moved on?

I'm trying to contact/ find news on old acquaintences, to see how they are doing after all these years: Jim Church of Harleston, who worked for British Gas. Steve Hartley of Fair Green and various others, including cousins belonging to the Noble/ Webb clan.

After my little piece on the youths sitting down the park, they have found themselves a new home in Morrisons car park!! A happy ending!!!

Dear Editor, I am interested if there was or ever a "Diss" family member who ever lived in the town of Diss.
