For 1980s music fans, this much is true.
Tony Hadley, the former Spandau Ballet frontman, will be appearing with a 17-piece big band at Somerleyton Hall for his only UK gig on August 15.

The Swinging True: Big Band Tour comes to the grounds of the stately home in an event that could be the picnic concert of the year.

As well as new material from his album Passing Strangers, Hadley and the band will play new arrangements of all the Spandau classics.

The 1980s legends notched up 15 top 20 hits including Gold, True and Communication.

Hall owner Hugh Crossley said: "Bring a picnic and a blanket for what promises to be one of the best concerts we've ever hosted.

"We are thrilled Tony has chosen to play here."

Tickets are £27.50 for adults and £15 for chidlren aged five to 15 and are available from 01603 630000.

Doors open for picnics at 6.30pm.

Somerleyton Hall is on the B1074, between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
