One of the biggest selling classical artists of the past decade comes to Ipswich's Orwell Park on Sunday.
New Zealander Hayley Westenra's credits include a classical Brit nomination for best album, performances for The Queen, George W. Bush, Tony Blair, Prince Charles and New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark
.

Westenra is the youngest ever ambassador for UNICEF, while her Bikes For Ghana campaign provided 6,000 bikes to help young Ghanaian girls attend school.

She has duetted with Andrea Bocelli, Jose Carreras and Bryn Terfel and has appeared as a special guest with the world's leading orchestras.

While on her current tour, she was awarded Global Kiwis Young Achiever Award 2008 to recognise her accomplishments.

  • Playing the same venue tonight is Roger Hodgson the voice of 1970s hitmakers Supertramp in an open air picnic concert.


  • The band racked up a string of hits including Breakfast In America, The Logical Song and Give A Little Bit.

    Hodgson co-founded Supertramp in 1969, serving as their primary singer and songwriter for 13 years.

    Marillion are the support act. Both concerts start at 7.30pm, gates open 5.30pm.
