Marie Curie Cancer is holding a moonlight walk along a five-mile route through Bury St Edmunds on Saturday, July 11, to help raise funds for its nurses working in Suffolk.
Currently 38 nurses are working in the county to allow patients with cancer and other terminal illnesses to be nursed in their own homes. Every £20 raised pays for another hour of nursing.
The registration fee for the walk is £10 and includes a free T-shirt and a certificate of achievement.
For a registration form, contact Marie Curie Cancer Care, 01284 747385, or email angela.bussey@mariecurie.org.uk
Registration for the walk will be at the Bury St Edmunds Leisure Centre.
