Festival will celebrate county's growing Polish culture

The first-ever Polish Arts Festival will take place in Ipswich between September16 and 21.
Established to celebrate Suffolk’s growing Polish community and rich culture, the event is supported by the Polish Embassy, the Polish Cultural Institute, The Arts Council and Suffolk County Council among others.

It will feature a Polish Film Festival with screenings at Hollywood cinemas as well as a contemporary Polish Art Exhibition at the Town Hall Galleries.

Other events include the Polski Picnic in Christchurch Park on Sunday, September 21, featuring music by the Warsaw Village Band, traditional dancing by the Mazury Dance Company, crafts and live bands.
