The seductive glamour of fame and the price to pay are explored in the latest production from choreographer Matthew Bourne which arrives at Norwich Theatre Royal later this month.
Dorian Gray runs from September 16 to 20 and updates the Oscar Wilde story with the hero becoming the face of an advertising campaign who makes a pact with Satan.
The production won rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival and is being eagerly awaited by Norwich audiences, who have enjoyed his work in the past.
One of its stars Aaron Sillis, was discovered by Charlotte Corbett who runs the Central School of Dancing and Performing Arts in Norwich and later won a part in the Peter Pan panto at the Theatre Royal.
He is now regarded as one of Britain's top talents, working regularly with Matthew Bourne and is also assistant choreographer to Kylie Minogue.
