Dynamic local artist Ned Pamphilon will be among those exhibiting their artwork at Redgrave's St Mary's Church during a series of open days.
On the first Saturday of each month, 10am-5pm, the 14th Century church will be open to visitors, offering a photographic exhibition and refreshments as well as a second hand books stall.

Tomorrow's open day features Mr Pamphilon's work, which varies in style from surreal to the more realistic and reflects his interests and influences, including those gathered during his ten years living in Istanbul.

Also on show will be a portrait of St Edmund, who is reportedly connected with the church.

Mr Pamphilon said his research into St Mary's Church implied that there was a chapel dedicated to St Edmund in the north aisle in 1471, and his painting of the saint would prove an apt exhibit for the church.

For further information about the open days, call June Shepherd, 01379 898450.
