A chance to get creative and involved in some artistic activities will be available in an open art activity day near Eye.
The Kerrison Centre in Thorndon is offering workshops covering artistic techniques with acrylics, water colours and other materials on Wednesday, 10am-4pm.

There will be painting demonstrations and all the required materials will all be included in the day, which costs £10 including lunch.

The activities are organised between Axis – a group formed to provide courses in activities such as IT skills, arts, crafts, cooking and gardening – and Suffolk County Council.

Axis is based permanently at the Kerrison Centre, which is two miles off the A140 and also offers activities for people with physical or sensory disabilities.

For more information call Nikki Sturmey, 01473 265291.
