As the first week of the long summer school holidays starts next week, parents who are looking for something to occupy their children will find a host of activities at Diss Corn Hall.
The
town council has teamed up with
South Norfolk Council to offer a programme of sporting and craft activities for children aged five to 12 during August.
All s
essions will be held in the Corn Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays, with three sessions per day over a three-week period.
Children aged eight and above will be able to book for all three sessions and be supervised for the whole day. Children under six-years-old must be accompanied by an adult.
On August 4, there will be sessions on archery, yummytreats and fencing, followed on August 6, by Box Fit, junk jewellery and gymnastics.
The following week's sessions will include fencing, street dance and pressed flower craft on August 11, and bird boxes, circus skills and self defence on August 13.
The last week's session will offer archery, origami and balloon modelling, and self defence on August 18, and delta kites, multi-sports and games and five-a-side football on August 20.
All individual sessions cost £4.20 each or £11 for a full day and leisure passport holders are entitled to a 50 per cent discount on the price.
