Express readers are being asked to shed some light on the young people featured in this picture.

It was sent to us by Mrs J.R. Leeader (nee Beecroft), of Lime Tree Avenue, Long Stratton.

She says the photograph was taken at Eye National School which she attended in the 1940s.

“I’m sure some of the other pupils still live in the Diss Area,” she says.
