Football: Ipswich Town fan Nick Wells wraps up the season by giving out his annual awards

Highlight of the season: Marcus Evans' takeover. His buyout lifted the financial burden that had been hovering above Town for years.
Marcus' millions mean we can shop at the top end of the division's transfer market and not face our best players leaving for derisory fees in the summer.
Player of the season: Jon Walters. The Scouser has been an unexpected revelation this season in an unfamiliar position of right midfield.
He proved himself to be a great creator and scorer of goals.
Biggest disappointment of the season: Gavin Williams. At the start of the season he was seen as our key player but after suffering yet more injuries, he struggled to make even a place on the bench.
Biggest let off of the season: Not signing Franny Jeffers. Town fans were desperate for Jeffers to sign a permanent deal after an outstanding loan spell at Portman Road at the end of last season.
Instead the one-time England international signed for Sheffield Wednesday for £750,000 and a £10,000 a week wage and made just nine starts, after another injury-ravaged season.
Best signing of the season: Pablo Counago. After an unspectacular previous spell at Town, few fans were licking their lips when he was signed as a cheap alternative to Jeffers.
But Pablo has matured as a player and was the vital link between midfield and attack.
Biggest anti-climax of the season: David Norris. After the longest running Town transfer saga, I can remember, we finally got our man only for him to take time to settle and get injured.
But Jim bought him for what he will do over three seasons, not three months.
Villain of the Season: David Nugent. The man we love to hate, sparked our wrath again but this time messing us around over a potential loan deal and still managed to score against us.
Fondest farewell: Jason De Vos. He may have struggled against strikers with pace but we will miss our big skipper's stature at both ends of the field.
Best statistic of the season: Fifteen wins, seven draws and just one defeat – the best home record in the division.
Worst statistic of the season: Just three away wins all season, the joint worst in the division along with Colchester and Barnsley.
Biggest question of the summer: Will Jim get the men he wants? We all knew that Jim wanted a striker and a central defender in the January window but clubs were reluctant to sell midway through the season.
Now he was three months rather than 31 days, so there will be no excuses.
