This New York trio's last album, Show Your Bones was so good many critics thought they would never be able to top it.
However, three years later, singer Karen O, guitarist Nick Zinner and drummer Brian Chase have done just that.

It's Blitz sees the trio plug into the pop jugular by eschewing the guitar-based maelstrom of their previous work and switch Zinner to vintage synthesizers to summon the sounds of late-70s Bowie and Kraftwerk.

Opener and first single Zero is the perfect introduction for this new direction, while Heads Will Roll and Dragon Queen will keep the indie club dancefloors happy for months.
